Genesis Locs Maintenance system

The Genesis Loc Care Maintenance System is a five-step hair and scalp care routine designed for ongoing care after completing the Genesis Loc Care Reset phases.

The system combines cleansing, lightweight conditioning, hydration, scalp moisturising and botanical oils to help keep locs feeling clean, soft, moisturised and manageable without the use of heavy creams or butters.

Suitable for starter locs, mature locs, microlocs, Sisterlocks and traditional locs.

Genesis Herbal Shampoo – 250 mL
Gently cleanses the scalp and locs to remove everyday buildup, excess oil and impurities.

Genesis Botanical Conditioning Rinse – 250 mL
A lightweight conditioning rinse formulated to help soften and condition locs without the heavy feel of a traditional cream conditioner.

Genesis Botanical Hydration Mist – 250 mL
A lightweight mist that adds moisture to the scalp and locs and can be used between wash days to refresh dry-feeling hair.

Genesis  Aloe Scalp Moisturizer – 250 mL
A lightweight aloe-based moisturizer formulated to moisturise the scalp without the heaviness of traditional creams.

Genesis Barrier Balance Elixir – 100 mL
A lightweight botanical oil blend that helps condition the scalp and seal in moisture.

How to Use

Wash Day: Thoroughly wet the scalp and locs. Apply the Genesis Herbal Shampoo, gently massage through the scalp and allow the lather to run through the locs. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed.

Apply the Genesis Botanical Conditioning Rinse to the locs. Leave on for 2–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Spray the Genesis Botanical Hydration Mist over the scalp and locs. Apply the Genesis Scalp Aloe Moisturizer directly to the scalp as needed. Finish with a small amount of Genesis Barrier Balance Elixir.

Between Wash Days: Use the Botanical Hydration Mist as needed to refresh the hair. Apply the Scalp Aloe Moisturizer and Barrier Balance Elixir according to your scalp and hair's moisture needs.
